San Clemente, San Diego, and the great train and trolly ride

Drove North to San Clemente on Sunday and did some shopping and had dinner at a neat little sports bar so we could watch the Lions. Another Nail biter.....
Didn't our previous president Gerald Ford move here after he left Grand Rapids or after his presidency on sometime? Does anyone know the answer to this one? This is a very neat Oceanside town on cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean
Monday decided to adventure on the Coaster Train to San Diego downtown and outskirts in each direction. Checkout Old Town San Diego. We were heading to Little Italy which is right in the downtown area and there was an announcement that there had been a shooting by the tracks, North of us on way back home to Oceanside and the train would be delayed. Sooooo we ended up sitting on this train with a car full of people from all walks of life that we became friends with and created a temporary bond that turned to be fun and enlightened all. Ended up with a 10 pm dinner (1am Michigan time)

To give you an idea on how big this is just look at the person by her foot..
