Saturday October 9 went to Telluride. This is got to be the coolest town that we have been to so far. Just beautiful, located in a box canyon. Big ski resort! Love this area, sights unbelievable!!!
Sunday October 10 Monica and I went to Moab, Utah to the Arches National Park. Another unbelievable Kodak picture moments. We got a late start leaving Cortez {around noon}, had a late dinner/lunch combination at Moab Brewery. A big plate of barbeque meats including ribs, tri-tip beef, hot Italian sausage, onion rings, and coleslaw, then had to drive 2 hours back to Cortez....brutal coming from a Brewery!!!!! Got back around 9:30 pm.
Today October 10, 2016.
We will pack up today and head from Cortez to Flagstaff, Az. about a 6 hour drive. We have a hotel rented in Flagstaff for the next two nights. Grand Canyon and wherever else we decide to stop. Tough to say goodbye to our wonderful hosts and friends Lori and Steve. It makes it easier for Monica knowing that Lori and Steve are coming to Michigan in the week or two for some fall work at their Michigan cottage in Hesperia area.
